How the Math Works

Weighted Score
Every match starts at 0. We calculate a score for each of the 27 dimensions with specific weights.
Exact vs. Partial
Three match types: Strict (binary 0/100% for Work Setting, Languages), Soft (tiered like Education: 100%/80%/0%), and Percentage (overlap-based for Skills, Tools, Culture).
Culture Alignment
Percentage match based on shared values (Autonomy vs Collaboration, Fast-Paced vs Balanced). Higher overlap = higher score. Ensures long-term fit beyond technical skills.
Smart Salary Logic
Nuanced scoring: 100% if within range, 80% if candidate expects less (under budget), 0% if over. Rewards realistic expectations and prevents mismatches.
Verified Quality
Verified candidates and confirmed companies receive priority in matching. Forward-looking role level matching (what candidate wants next) prevents over-qualification mismatches.
Privacy First
Quiet Mode automatically hides candidates from current employer searches. Relocation matching can override location restrictions when both parties are flexible.
Timeline Match
Time-sensitive scoring: 100% within 30 days, 50% for 31-60 days, lower for longer gaps. Urgent roles prioritize immediate availability.
Benefits Matching
Focuses on critical benefits candidate marked as essential. Missing a must-have benefit reduces score significantly. Nice-to-haves don't compensate for missing critical ones.
