We take data protection seriously. Here is how CandidateSeekers keeps your information safe while keeping the platform transparent for both sides.
For Candidates
- Salary history is private - Your past compensation from previous employers is never shown to hiring teams. This exists to prevent lowballing or bias based on what you have accepted in the past. Your salary expectations and preferences are visible through the matching system so companies know what you are looking for - but what you earned before is yours alone.
- Profile control - You control your profile visibility with three settings: Public (visible to all verified companies), Private (hidden from search), and Quiet Search (visible but discreet). You decide who sees you and when. Learn more about profile visibility settings.
- Verified companies only - Only companies that have been verified and vetted by CandidateSeekers can post roles and view candidate profiles. Random recruiters and unverified accounts do not have access to the talent pool.
For Companies
- Verified candidates - Candidates are verified through profile completion, not just email. Only candidates who have completed their profiles across all 27 match dimensions are approved, verified, and shown to hiring teams. This means every profile you see represents a real person who invested real time into building it.
- Role visibility - Your roles are visible to authenticated candidates on the platform, not indexed on public search engines or accessible without an account.
- Team permissions - Control who on your team can access candidate data with granular permission levels. Assign admin, member, or view-only access to keep sensitive information in the right hands.
Technical Security
- Encryption - All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest
- Row Level Security - Database-level access controls ensure users can only see data they are authorized to access
- Secure authentication - Industry-standard auth with secure session management
- Payment security - All payments processed through Stripe. We never store credit card numbers
