CandidateSeekers grows when people share it. More candidates means more attention from employers. More employers means more pitches for candidates. Every person you bring in makes the platform stronger for everyone - including you.
How It Works
- Get your referral code - Every user gets a unique referral code automatically when they sign up. You can find it on your Referrals page under the Community section in your sidebar.
- Share it - Copy your referral link and send it to anyone. When someone signs up using your link, they are automatically tied to your account.
- Track your referrals - Your Referrals page shows everyone who signed up through your link, their status, and any rewards earned.
Your Referral Code
Your code is auto-generated and unique to you. It looks something like CAND-A3B7-K9M2 for candidates or SEEK-Z9X2-L4M8 for seekers. You do not need to create one - it is already waiting for you on your Referrals page.
Your referral link is your signup URL with your code attached. Copy it and share it anywhere - LinkedIn, text, email, group chats.
What Happens When Someone Signs Up
When someone uses your referral link:
- Their account is linked to yours as a referral
- The referral starts as Pending while they set up their profile
- Once they complete onboarding, the referral moves to Completed
- You get notified and your rewards are granted
What You Get
For Candidates
- Community Builder Badge - A visible badge on your profile that shows you are helping grow the platform
- 30-Day Visibility Boost - Your profile appears in the Featured Candidates section at the top of every hiring team's Talent Pool for 30 days. This does not change your match score - it gives you premium placement so seekers see you first when browsing candidates
For Seekers
Seeker rewards unlock as you hit referral milestones:
- 1st referral - Community Builder badge on your company profile + priority customer support
- 3rd referral - 1 extra role slot added to your plan permanently
- 5th referral - 1 free month (your next invoice is on us)
- 10th referral - 10% off your subscription forever
Rewards are granted automatically when referred companies complete their onboarding. Your Referrals page shows your progress toward each tier.
Who Can You Refer?
Anyone. Both candidates and seekers can refer:
- Candidates - Professionals who are job searching, open to opportunities, or just want to be discoverable
- Companies - Hiring managers, HR teams, or business owners looking for a better way to find talent
Tips for Successful Referrals
- Be specific about why - Do not just drop a link. Tell people why CandidateSeekers would be valuable for them
- Share your own experience - If you have received pitches or found strong candidates, say so
- Refer people you know - A personal recommendation goes further than a mass blast
- Remind them to complete their profile - Your referral only counts as completed once they finish onboarding
Checking Your Stats
Head to the Referrals page in your sidebar (under Community) to see:
- Your referral code and shareable link
- Total referrals
- Completed signups
- Rewards earned
- A full list of everyone you referred and their status
